Acoustic

During an acoustic set you can hear Adam's intimate and poignant songs from the head and heart.  Writing songs first out of frustration of trying to learn other's songs, it has formed into a passion.

"The song writing process is like therapy for me and there's no better way to get these ideas and feelings out than through the medium of song.  Forming songs puts my thoughts under a microscope where I can fully analyze and understand myself.  It is a way to articulate my words and feelings that simply talking about cannot do.  I worship the experience and chasing the end result gives me purpose and the means to carry on with positive intention." -Adam Flaig

This album was part of Iowa City musician Lily Detaeye's songwriting challenge called #newsongnovember. The challenge is to write and share a song each day throughout November.

To the best of my ability, each song was written and recorded that day. I got off schedule every other day just about but essentially 24 hours per song.

*Disclaimer: Nov. 11 Wheel of Time was actually written on Oct. 31, 2020 in an attempt to get ready for the November challenge. Nov. 9 Rising With the Sun was written earlier during quarantine but was written/recorded in a day.
